We are on holiday. I propose you to walk around, to wander, to watch, to look at, to discover a potential place to play -children, teenagers or adults-. To find in your neighbourhood, city or wherever you are spending your holiday a place which can be transformed into a place to play in by applying some minimal operations. Some of the operations done by, for example, Aldo van Eyck, with some trunks or some very simple bars which could be even simpler. And if you leave something in the urban space waiting for somebody plays it? But it needs to be real, not virtual at all: the same situation you get when you leave bread and you wait for pigeons or fish eat it. To leave some balls in a place, to mark some lines on the floor, to draw a hopscotch scheme on the ground, to put up a basket, or simply to set some old pieces of junk, of scrap, some bricks, stacking earth, to hang some ropes and many other things you can think about. Would you like to check out how we are able to stimulate and provoke a recreational activity? You just need to take part with minimal means in the urban space and to wait for... wait of citizenship starts the game. Do it while you are on holiday or in a break. Then, you register it with a photo, if it is possible, while it is being used.
The submit will be just a picture, JPEG file, smaller than 50 Mb and with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi. |
