  • Background

    • Welcome to the Athens course “one woman minute. Woman landscape in Madrid” that will be held from 16th to 20th of November in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid.

      As the title indicates, in these five days Gonzalo ,that comes from the Project Department, Rodrigo and Javier, that have scholarships to collaborate as teachers this current course and Atxu, that teachs in the Graphic Ideation and Expression Department, will try to develop a whole project analyzing some sceneries in Madrid from a genre point of view, making some interventions, real or virtual to change our environment and finally making a final product. In a continous process of action, discussion, presentation, criticism all of us will play the same roles as members of a group dissolving the borders among teachers and students.

      We know the course had to be created for thirty hours and we really try it every year with an schedule organized in five sessions with different developing times, but we are never sucessful in this point. Anyway students are free to stay at University or leave it, depending on their assignments and how each group decides to organize its time: As you know in architecture it is difficult to control the time.......

      The background of the course are a map(with some possible locations for finding the most important aspects in the data re-collection), the schedule of the course(below, explaining day by day and in time the different activities and its kind), your group and its distribution and various texts introducing the matter of study.
