10:00-13:00, Work indoors/outdoors: depending on the strategy of how to get the 10 points, you can either decide to stay and plan a lot of virtual interventions or go to the city and do a great live action.
13:00-16:00, LUNCH
16:00-18:00, Review of assignment #2: Finishing on time is part of the work. Understanding the distribution overall the intervention is one of the basic steps in the process of developing a project, this is one more point! Let´s start the explanation of all your interventions in the city!
Teachers advice in the public review of the assignment #2:
- GROUP 1: the concept of extracting that is usually private like taking care of your hair to the street is a great idea. Public/private is a relation really important to investigate from a genre point of view. A good idea could be making things go to its extreme, when you turn all the surrounding conditions to its extemes suddenly the most powerful concept comes to the surface. For example in this case could be great to make this points not only a place to look at your hair, they could be a total hair center in the street. The only problem with this intervention is that is difficult to understand the use of this pink points with any explanation, to understand that those are points to look at your hair instead of being a nothing. It could have been a good idea to develope some kind of advertisement to promote and explain the use of this points.
- GROUP 2: the baby ways concept is important, and very related to genre point of view. All the moms have to deal with this, this is difficult, not prepared for the city and slow. Making this babyways will really help women. The next step could be to plan a huge network of this ways all around the city, what will be its length, where is needed more density, could be inside the comercial centers?, maybe into museums? The part related to the park is not that important because in the park there is enough space not to need this ways. And a good add to the intervention could have been the inclusion of some spaces to place the cars while you are not using them in the city.
- GROUP 3: the concept of bringing the kitchen to the outside, the concept of changing and transforming a private space into a public one is very interesting. Maybe it needs another thought in the way you actually do this in the city, how you locate it in the city. Probably it is too dirty and messy, not totally understandable but if you want to go one step ahead you could have started cooking there and sharing the food with the citizens. Two more advices will be to take a greater scale in the action because it remains a bit small and to go further in the use of the aluminium paper because it is invented to grab, to be more global than the use you gave to it.
- GROUP 4: this is a very professional work in the way of finding a problem and solving it in a succesful way. It actually could be proposed to the Madrid´s council because the idea is really good and useful, there is a lack of information of this type. The quality of the images are good and the most imprtant fact in the intervention is that it actually works, it makes people think about it and take care. The signals are really clear, there is no possible confussion between the message and the reader and this is really difficult even if the people like it or not.
- GROUP 5: the interesting thing of this project is that you find new things in the process even if you did not plan them but they still appear and you have to take it into the project. The idea is quite stupid because it is really relative thinking that because of a stick, the bag will not be stolen, it may actually make them want to steal it more. The interesting part is that in the video, it showed how people help each other and how they share and negociate the sticks. There is some point where it is missed some information between the action and the registration but could be a technology problem.
- GROUP 6: this work does not follow the proposed process of the class: registering, thinking, acting... They do not know what will happen after, they just act, act and act... This is very interesting because they open a lot of ways of investigation but for the final project this is impossible because you will have to choose a concept or an idea to communicate and focus on it. It is a very very experimental intervention project and the execution of the presintation is really good: the point of view, the scenes, etc.
- GROUP 7: at the time of the presentation you have not done the intervention but you promise in of "coming on friday". You make us wait to have it all together on friday. This is a very good publicity strategy, because you make a lot of expectations, it is very good for increasing the intensity of the impact on friday. So we wait for it on friday!
18:00-19:00, Videoclip speech: short explanation of the different strategies to develope a project of a video; the story to tell, how to tell it, how to do it and how to use the software and the hardware involved.
19:00-19:45, Explanation of assignment #3 (final): the explanation ofhow to develope the final project that consist in a video involving the whole process during the week

19:45-20:00, Lecture of a fragment of "One Human Minute", Stanislaw Lem
"Although each of us knows that on Earth all the seasons of the year, all climates, and all hours of the day and night exist together at every moment, we generally do not think about it. This commonplace, which every elementary-school student knows, or should know, somehow lies outside our awareness -- perhaps because we do not know what to do with such an awareness. Every night, electrons, forced to lick the screens of our television sets with frenzied speed, show us the world chopped up and crammed into the Latest News, so we can learn what happened in China, in Scotland, in Italy, at the bottom of the sea, on Antarctica, and we believe that in fifteen minutes we have seen what has been going on in the whole world. Of course, we have not. The news cameras pierce the terrestrial globe in a few places: there, where an Important Politician descends the steps of his plane and with false sincerity shakes the hands of other Important Politicians; there, where a train has derailed -- but not just any derailment will do, only one with cars twisted into spaghetti and people extracted piece by piece, because there are already too many minor catastrophes. In a word, the mass media skip everything that is not quintuplets, a coup d'état (best if accompanied by a respectable massacre), a papal visit, or a royal pregnancy. The gigantic, five-billion-human backdrop of these events exists for certain, and anybody who was asked would say, yes, of course he knows that millions of others exist; if he thinks about it, he might even arrive at the fact that with every breath he takes, so many children are born and so many people die. It is, nevertheless, a vague knowledge, no less abstract than the knowledge that, as I write this, an American probe stands immobile in the pale sun on Mars, and that on the Moon lie the wrecks of a couple of vehicles. The knowledge counts for nothing if it can be touched with a word but not experienced. One can experience only a microscopic droplet out of the sea of human destinies that surrounds us. In this respect a human being is not unlike an amoeba swimming in a drop of water, whose boundaries seem to be the boundaries of the world. The main difference, I would say, is not our intellectual superiority to the protozoon but the latter's immortality: instead of dying it divides, thereby becoming its own, increasingly numerous family."
