The proposed action consists of creating the perfect New Year’s Eve soiree including a special dinner, a TV show, a King’s message to nation and the broadcast of midnight chimes. It will be held in the so-called Museum Classroom in the School of Architecture at UPM on December 18, 2011. The best possible decontextualization in this case was to celebrate New Year’s Eve any day but December 31st. That night people usually lie down under things like playing to be others, to stop being different to be the same, and to become accommodating, conservative and even square. We sit down at table, properly dressed to play our role, and we bolt down all sorts of delicacies. And we drink. We drink. We drink enough to forget who we are, who is with us and what we have done for the whole damn year.

In the meantime, all other speculactors were celebrating and drinking toasts to each and every speculaction.
En este caso, la mejor descontextualización era celebrar la Nochevieja un día cualquiera. La Nochevieja es quizás la noche donde todos aceptamos sin rechistar jugar a ser otros; a dejar de ser distintos, para ser iguales; a ser, casposos, complacientes y conservadores. Sentados en una mesa, adecuadamente vestidos para cumplir nuestro papel y engullendo manjares de muy diversa condición. Y bebiendo. Y bebiendo. Y bebiendo lo suficiente como para olvidar quienes somos, con quien estamos y lo que hemos hecho este maldito año. Todo. Lo hicimos todo. Los especuladores invitaron a los especuladores, para cenar con especuladores viendo un programa realizado por especuladores donde un rey especulador se dirigía a un país especulador; donde pudimos verlas actuaciones de los especuladores y donde finalmente, después del anuncio más caro realizado por los especuladores, una pareja de especuladores retransmitían las campanadas y todos los especuladores brindábamos celebrando todas y cada una de las especulacciones.
